OVERVIEW
Many mid-market enterprises have deployed some Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers among a predominately Windows server infrastructure to support specific application needs. The team administering Red Hat servers may have widely varying Linux skills and there may not be a well defined process to manage the servers, leaving a company exposed to security and compliance risk.
In this webinar we show Windows administrators how to effectively manage day 2 operations and compliance of RHEL servers using Red Hat management software. We discuss the Red Hat equivalents to Windows day 2 operations, automation tools and best practices for integration. There are also labs that cover how to configure Ansible®, Red Hat Insights, and Satellite 6 to effectively manage RHEL servers to perform inventory discovery, a wide variety of day 2 operations, enforcing configurations, and performing server self-healing. At the end of this workshop, a Windows administrator will understand how to effectively use all RHEL infrastructure software to harden and manage their RHEL footprint.
